Michael Joseph Jackson was born in Gary Indian United States as the 6th sibling to the jackson family. He is the fifth brother following Tito,Marlon,jackie,Jermaine jackson. He was also following his older sisters Rebbie and Latoya Jackson.Michael Jackson is then followed by his younger siblings Randy and Janet Jackson.- The jacksons form an all boy band called the Jackson 5. The band is then mananged by the father of the brothers Mr Joseph Jackson who at first did not support the idea of the music band.
- Under their fathers management the Jackson 5 is signed by Motown Records.
- The jackson 5 make their first impression with their single "I want you back" that jumps to the number-one singles spot. The tracks including "The love you save" and "I'll be there" soon follow suit.
1962 - 1969
- Michael Jackson decides to go solo and his singles including "Got to be there", "Rocking' Robin" and "I wanna be where you are" make waves in the charts.
- Michael Jackson also made his film debut in the film 'The Wiz' which was the retelling of 'The story the wizard of oz'. His role was being the scarecrow in the movie.
- Michael Jackson releases his first solo album titled "Off the wall". The tracks in the album including "Don't stop till you get enough" become number one hits.
1971 - 1979
- Michael jackson wins his first grammy award for best R&B male vocal perfomance.
- Michael Jackson releases 'Thriller' and the album maintains top status on the charts for 37 weeks. Seven singles race to the top spot including tracks like "Billie Jean", "Beat it", "Thriller" and "Wanna be starting something".
- Michael Jackson during his Motown 25 anniversary live perfomance of the song 'Billie Jean' reveals his signature move, the moonwalk.
1980 - 1984
- Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie write "We are the world" to fundraise for hunger relief in africa. Various artists including Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles and more feature into the project. 7 million copies are sold world wide and the proceeds from the sales are dedicated to the hunger relief in Africa.
- Michael Jackson releases his third solo album 'Bad'. He then Embarks on a world tour soon after.
- Doubleday releases 'Moonwalk' an autobiography of the Life of Michael Jackson.
- Guiness book of world records deems Miichael Jackson's album 'Thriller' the best selling album ever after going platinum for the 21st time. The album to date has sold over 65 million copies.
1985 - 1990
- Michael Jackson opens up about his personal issues during an interview with Miss Oprah. He opens up his skin disorder and his relationship with his father during his childhood.
- Michael Jackson is accused of child molestation and is subjected to a full body search when the police came to his house in Neverland. His stated that this incident has been the most humiliating in his life.
- Michael Jackson settles his accusation in court. He pays a heavy fine to the allerged boy and his parents, amounting to approximately $18 million.
- On the 24th May 1994 Michael Jackson and Lisa-Marie Prisley got married.However, their marriage unfortunately lasts less than two years.
1992 - 1994
- Janet Jackson micheal's little sister performs "Scream" with his older brother Michael. Sony announces the release of Michael Jackson's History: Past,Present and Future Book I.
- Michael Jackson gives a second chance at love with another attempt of marriage with Debbue Rowe, a nurse. Mrs Debbie then gives birth to Michael Jackson's child Prince Michael. Micheal jackson is also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of fame.
- Mrs Debbie Bears Michael second born baby girl, Paris Michael Katherine.
1995 - 1998
- Michael Jackson unfortunately faces another unsuccessful marriage. Michael and Debbie split up.
- "Billie Jean","Rock with you", "I want you back" and "Beat it" secure a place in the Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 100 greatest songs of all time.
- Sony releases Michael Jackson's Invinsible, which did not sell well after the battling critics
1999 - 2002
- Michael Jackson continues to face troubles in his life after being charged for seven counts of child sexual abuse and administering intoxicating agent.The charges were made by the same boy Garvin Arvizo aged 14 at the time.
- Micheal jackson is acquitted on all counts in the Arvizo case in the People v. Jackson trial Santa Maria,Calif.
- Due to financial difficulties Michael Jackson is forced to close down the main house Neverland. Michael Jackson makes his first public appearance since the Arvizo case to accept his Guiness world records.
2003 - 2006
- Michael Jackson and Sony buy Music LLC from viacom, this purchase grants Michael Jackson ringhts to the songs from artists including "Eminem","Shakira" and others.
- Michael Jackson issues Thriller 25 which was a celebration of 25 years of the iconic album. The issue attains the number spot in 8 countries and reaches the second spot in the U.S.
- Michael Jackson on the 25 th of June 2009, passes away after experiencing cardiac arrest.
2007 - 2009
